I drove up last night & arrived just before a nice snowstorm blew in. Chase got called out to snowplow for a couple of hours due to the snowy road conditions. We were up at 5:30am this morning getting ready so we could have Shaylee at the hospital by 7:00am for surgery. She was walking up & down the hall in her sleeper laughing & having a great time before her surgery. That was until we had to put her into the little yellow hospital gown & the nurses started to take her Temp, listen to her heart & get her weight. Shaylee survived the whole ordeal pretty darn good for a one year old. The operating room was just across the hall from us. The surgery went fast & before long she was waking up. This time proved to be the hardest for Shaylee, but she managed to settle down to drink a bottle of apple juice, then a bottle of milk. Not long after that she was dressed & we were headed home. After her nap at home, she was just like her same happy self. Which was great to see. YOU DID AWESOME SHAYLEE!! I had to leave not too long after that because another snow storm was headed into Beaver.
